Spaciousness of Soul

Not knowing what to do
is human.

Consciousness creates choices,
                  creates confusion.

When instinct stands at attention,
opportunity is never lost.

So let us breathe into that space
we call our awareness
even though
                  it may be sleepy,
                  it may be dusty,
and in need of some fresh air.

What happens when we awaken,
                  when we choose to live
from the spaciousness of soul?

Let us close our eyes
and cajole our playful nature
to reveal the true world
in all its astounding beauty,
                  daring playfulness,
                  and confounding mystery.

As we settle back into
this heavily pregnant pause,
allow the stillness
to calm any tension and
                  to heal the unintentional damage
done by our overdoing.
