Seeing From Within

Station – Departure – Arrival
They’re all the same thing.

The journey is your life.
It is your purpose,
                  your soul’s intention.

You must embark
                  or somehow be launched.
Otherwise you may never leave.

One day you’ll awaken,
and recognize the journey
by the downward slope.
Then you’ll begin to shed
those cherished costumes.

The road is often long,
arduous and lonely,
maybe even dangerous.

Somewhere along the way
comes the realization
you’re no longer looking out,
but seeing from deep within.
